Program for Sequence Design

This 12 minute video takes you through the NAGFORM software program for sequence design. It covers the main features and sections for part model, auto design of sequences, DCM procedure for creating your own sequence design and manual design. 

The results of NAGFORM program for a sample part are shown. For an another part, the results of NAGFROM, NAGTOOL and NAGSIM.2D programs are presented briefly to show how design and development of a cold forged part can be automated to reduce design and development effort.

NAGSIM.2D
FEA Simulation Program

NAGSIM.2D is a FEA program for simulating two dimensional cold forging processes. It can simulate forming of axisymmetric ( round) parts and long parts. This short video provides a basic understanding of the program, how it works and the results of the simulation. The program can be used to validate a cold forging sequence , reduce trials and improve tool life.
